The cool weather and late ripening gave small quantities of beautifully structured Aszú wine this vintage of which this 6 puttonyos is a lovely example.
Harvest we harvested the aszú berries from the end of October – till the end of November
Fermentation and aging in 220 L Szerednyei oak barrels and barrique barrels for 3 years
Grape varieties 60% Furmint, 30 % Hárslevelű, 10 % Yellow Muscat

Its minerality make it an excellent companion to main courses, particularly venison. Superb with goose liver pate or blue cheese, but also alone just for the joy of the moment.
